Laura is an artist, midwife, award-winning author, and Jewish Mother. She combines her creative and healthcare practice, to bring fresh interdisciplinary perspectives into a variety of birth spaces and cultural contexts.
Laura produces a number of projects - Maternal Journal: the award-winning creative journaling movement. Shifrah UK: celebrates and informs on Jewish cultural birth practices, and provides information, education and training. Birth Cafe: opens up space for conversations about birth.
